Unit Commitment to the 2024 Moon Pie Sale
Every Scout should learn the value of hard work and earning their own way. The popcorn sale is the perfect opportunity to teach this valuable life lesson and fund the most exciting year of Scouting ever. The popcorn sale is not just about selling popcorn, it offers far-reaching benefits beyond just raising funds. It provides valuable learning experiences, promotes personal development, fosters community engagement, and cultivates essential life skills that will benefit scouts long after their popcorn-selling days are over.
Popcorn provides an opportunity for Scouts to engage with their community. They interact with neighbors, friends, and local businesses, building relationships and representing their pack or troop positively. This engagement helps strengthen the bond between Scouts and their community, fostering a sense of belonging and responsibility.

Popcorn Commission
40% - $8,000 in sales or a per scout average of $450.00
35% - Per scout average of $301- $449
33% - Per scout average of $151-$300
30% - Per scout average of $151 and under
Moon Pie Commission
40%- Must order a minnimum of $2,000 in popcorn.
Youth Sales Rewards
We will be partnering this year with Camp Master and KellerPrize program to offer Scouts multiple prize levels for selling Popcorn and Moon Pies.

$700 Club For selling $700 in popcorn Scouts will receive 2 free tickets to a 2025 Rome Emperors home game and have their name entered into the grand prize drawing to win 4 season passes to Lake Winnepesaukah. *
$1400 Club drawing - Win 4 free tickets to a 2025 Rome Emperors home game, an opportunity to throw out the first pitch, an invitation to the Champions Dinner and your name entered twice into the grand prize drawing. *
**For each increment of $700 sold a scouts name will be entered into the drawing.
*The Northwest Georgia Council reserves the right to alter the sales reward if needed.
Selling Popcorn Online
1. Take Order Sales
Scouts go door-to-door with the take order form.
2. Show and Sell
Show and Sell is when scouts have popcorn in hand to show and to sell to customers on the spot. This can be done in several ways.
1) "Wagon Sales" also called "Show and Delivered"- Where the scout goes door to door in their neighborhood with the product in hand.
2) "Storefront Sales" Like setting up a table with popcorn on-hand and selling in front of a store.
3. Online Popcorn Sales
Via Camp Masters:
Selling online is the best way to sell to friends and family who live far away. Online sales count toward Scout rewards. Participants can send emails to friends and family asking them to purchase products online. The email includes a link allowing them to begin shopping right away. Customers can pay with a credit card, and the products are shipped directly to the customer, CONTACT FREE! The advantage of online sales is that Scouts don't have to collect money or deliver products.
Online Direct through the app:
Place orders for online products in the app. Pick the products, take payment (credit card only) and products ship directly to your customers. You can also share your page with customers via email, text and social media.
